At Aussie Motor Group, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our automotive products and services. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how we handle returns, exchanges, refunds and product issues for purchases made through the Aussie Motor Group website or directly from us.

This policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the ACL.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Aussie Motor Group complies with the Australian Consumer Law.

Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Depending on the circumstances, if a product has a problem, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

Where a product has a major problem, you may generally choose between a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, Aussie Motor Group may repair or replace the product within a reasonable time.

Consumer guarantees may apply regardless of whether a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or any additional warranty offered by Aussie Motor Group.

For more information about your rights under Australian Consumer Law, please refer to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, Aussie Motor Group may accept change-of-mind returns for eligible standard, non-customised products.

To be eligible:

A change-of-mind return is subject to our approval before the product is sent back.

Change-of-mind returns are not available for products that have been installed, modified, customised or otherwise altered after purchase.

Where a change-of-mind return is approved, the customer is responsible for the reasonable cost of returning the product to Aussie Motor Group.

Original delivery or shipping charges may not be refundable for change-of-mind returns.

3. Custom, Bespoke and Made-to-Order Products

Some Aussie Motor Group products and services are made specifically to order, customised or produced according to a customer’s vehicle, specifications, measurements, selections or requirements.

Because these products may be specifically prepared for an individual customer, change-of-mind returns may not be available for customised, bespoke or made-to-order products.

This may include, but is not limited to:

However, this does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a customised or made-to-order product has a problem covered by the ACL, Aussie Motor Group will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy required by law.

4. Incorrect Product or Vehicle Compatibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product selected is suitable for their vehicle where compatibility information has been provided.

Before purchasing vehicle-specific products, we recommend confirming:

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before placing your order.

If you have ordered the incorrect product or selected an incorrect option, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where the product is a standard, unused product and qualifies for a change-of-mind return, we may offer a return or exchange in accordance with this policy.

Products that have already been installed, modified, customised or made specifically to order may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.

5. Faulty or Defective Products

If you believe your product is faulty, defective, unsafe, damaged or does not meet the description provided at the time of purchase, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

We may request additional information or arrange an inspection of the product to determine the appropriate resolution.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the problem, the available remedy may include:

Aussie Motor Group will not require you to pursue a remedy solely through the manufacturer where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

6. Products Damaged During Delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your product appears to have been damaged during transportation, please contact us promptly and provide photographs of:

Where appropriate, we may ask you to retain the original packaging until the matter has been assessed.

If the product has been damaged in transit, we will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this process.

7. Installation and Modification

For vehicle-specific products, we strongly recommend confirming compatibility before installation.

Once a product has been installed, modified, altered, trimmed, painted, upholstered or otherwise changed, it may no longer be eligible for a change-of-mind return.

If a product is suspected to be faulty, please contact Aussie Motor Group before undertaking modifications or repairs, where reasonably possible.

This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Return Authorisation

Please do not send a product back without first contacting Aussie Motor Group.

To request a return, contact us using the details below and include:

Subject: Return Request – [Order Number]

Please provide:

We will review the request and provide return instructions where a return is appropriate.

9. Return Shipping

For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs.

Where a product is confirmed to have a fault or problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, Aussie Motor Group will handle return shipping costs in accordance with the applicable consumer guarantees.

For large, heavy or difficult-to-remove products, we may arrange collection or provide alternative return arrangements where required.

Customers should retain shipping receipts and tracking information for any approved return.

10. Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be made using the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

Aussie Motor Group does not charge a restocking fee for remedies required under the Australian Consumer Law.

For approved change-of-mind returns, any applicable return shipping costs or other agreed costs will be communicated before the return is processed.

11. Exchanges

Where appropriate, Aussie Motor Group may offer an exchange for an alternative product.

For change-of-mind exchanges, the replacement product must generally be of equivalent or greater value, with any price difference payable by the customer.

Where a product is faulty or does not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, the appropriate remedy will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.

12. Sale and Promotional Products

Sale, discounted and promotional products remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law.

A discount or promotional price does not remove your consumer rights where a product has a problem covered by the ACL.

Change-of-mind returns for sale or promotional products will be subject to the specific conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

13. Products Purchased for Business Use

Where products are purchased for business or commercial purposes, different Australian Consumer Law rules may apply depending on the circumstances of the purchase.

If you are purchasing products on behalf of a business, please contact us if you require clarification regarding applicable warranties or return arrangements.

14. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable proof of purchase, such as:
